With a BEng in Motorsport Engineering from Oxford Brookes, Joe joined WAE as a placement student in the Business Development Team before being offered a full time role in the company.
Joe is now working in Advanced Battery Technology and focusing on commercialising the company’s IP and “know how” into the consumer market.
In Joe’s words:
“I first became aware of the company when I watched Formula E, Gen 1 for which WAE was battery supplier. I thought the series was cool; high performance but with a purpose. Now I’m part of the team, I can see how we’re the perfect size – small enough to be agile and nimble and large enough to have developed specialist “know how”. We also have a great combination of young talent and experienced engineers in the team, Anyone who loves technology couldn’t fail to enjoy working here on a variety of projects and across a wide number of applications … and we’re really making a difference to the world.”
