An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Programme Manager to join our Programmes team in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.


Job role:


  • Customer Relationship
    • Establish, develop, and manage strong working relationship with customers, at all levels and expand to drive future revenue
    • Act as primary point of contact to the customer for all aspects of the project
  • Escalation
    • To effectively manage all stakeholder relationships escalating technical, operational or commercial issues likely to affect programme delivery
  • Project / Programme
    • Lead the delivery of large product development projects and/or portfolio, in collaboration with the technical leadership, considering:
      • Product requirements management
      • Achieving programme deliverables
      • Project cost and timing
      • Progress reporting (internal & external)
      • Cash management & invoicing
      • Risk Management and Mitigation
    • Process
      • Contributing to the continuous improvement of WAE processes for programme delivery
      • Identify, negotiate and agree changes to workscope and control via change management with the stakeholders
    • General
      • Represent and promote the WAE/Green Fleet brand, being mindful of the impact any failure
      • Work closely with delivery teams to identify solutions to address areas of weakness or opportunities of growth
      • Provide event support when and if requested including travel nationally or internationally


You’ll have:


  • Strong experience of leading programme delivery on large or multiple projects
  • Maintenance of timing and cost plans
  • Commercial leadership and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence outcomes with customer at peer level
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and preferably Project
  • Experience in managing the customer
