As part of the company’s ambitious expansion plans, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to drive and innovate WAE’s recruitment strategy within a dynamic working environment.  This is a senior role within the HR team, with significant responsibility for implementing strategy and supporting the delivery of ambitious growth targets.  The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert, had have a proven track record of running social media recruitment campaigns; utilising LinkedIn and other relevant social media channels.


Job role:

  • In conjunction with the Head of HR, formulate a recruitment strategy to support delivery of the required headcount growth in line with the strategic business goals
  • Working closely with the Marketing team, maximise use of social media channels; specifically, LinkedIn using the Company’s brand values to attract appropriately skilled candidates
  • Develop and maintain a recruitment process that is compliant with company values, and effective in meeting our ambitious growth targets
  • Manage the Preferred Supplier List and agency partnerships to deliver the candidates required whilst upholding the Company values
  • Develop and execute an internal recruitment training programme for managers and team leaders
  • Promote and influence equality, diversity and Inclusion agenda at WAE in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications team
  • Create and maintain partnerships with key universities and academic institutions to promote the company with the aim of attracting high calibre graduate and industrial placement candidates
  • Advise and support the HR Business Partner’s with the Young Talent Initiatives; Industrial placements, Graduate programmes and Apprentices
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners to provide a comprehensive HR service to our managerial team across all areas of the business’ including regional offices
  • Support the professional development of the HR administrators
  • Ensure the recruitment and approvals system in Itrent is utilised and managed appropriately and that we are compliant with GDPR and data management requirements
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment activity and performance metrics


You’ll have:


  • Demonstrable experience of managing a varied recruitment workload
  • Previous experience of executing a social media based recruitment strategy; specifically using LinkedIn for recruitment purposes
  • Understanding of how to leverage an Employer Brand for recruitment purposes
  • Understanding of the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion challenges facing organisations within our sectors and experience of strategies to address them
  • Previous experience of managing agency and other partnerships/networks to achieve recruitment targets
  • You will be a team player, with a hands-on approach and an appetite for a new challenge!
  • You will champion the company values and be a guardian of the Employer Brand
  • You will be highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities


  • Previous experience of global recruitment and mobility including visa sponsorship
  • CIPD qualification level 3
