In April 2023, WAE made a strategic investment into Beam Connectivity, a connected vehicle technology solutions developer. Beam Connectivity was founded in 2020 in response to the fragmented nature of the connected vehicle market. 

Beam Connectivity has developed a high performance, versatile and secure end-to-end connected vehicle solution. They provide hardware, software, cloud and mobile services, optimised to improve the performance and robustness of the complete connected vehicle system.

WAE has been working with Beam Connectivity on a variety of projects since 2020, including telematics for Hypercar programmes. WAE’s investment will accelerate commercialisation of the Company’s connectivity solutions and build the commercial team to grow their customer base. Alongside the investment, WAE will be supporting the Company as it brings its solutions to a wider market.
